Raipur. Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today visited renowned shrine of Chhattisgarh- Lutra Shareef today, under state-wide Lok Suraaj Abhiyan. With high respect and devotion, he presented ‘chadar’ to Baba Insaan Ali Shah at this sacred pilgrimage spot situated in Masturi block of Bilaspur district, and wished for peace, progress and prosperity for people of the state. Dr Singh was accompanied by Chief Secretary Mr. Ajay Singh and other officials. It was a surprise visit of Chief Minister to Lutra Shareef. At the redressal camp held there under Lok Suraaj Abhiyan, he took information about progress of various government schemes from officials concerned and people of the village. There, on request of public representatives at the redressal camp, Chief Minister immediately announced sanction of nearly Rs one crore 25 lakh for six villages of Masturi block. This includes Rs one crore for providing safe drinking water facility to villagers of village Juhni and Parsahi, and Rs 25 lakh for providing safe drinking water facility to people of village Lutra, Khamhariya, Dhaniya and Kharra. In this redressal camp, Bilaspur Jila Panchayat President Mr. Deepak Sahu, Masturi Janpad Panchayat President Mrs. Chandani Bhardwaj, State Government’s Chief Secretary Mr. Ajay Singh and officials-employees of various departments and other panch-sarpanch were also present.
